I will be performing on may 2nd during the First Friday Gallery Walk in downtown Honolulu. I will be at the Chinatown Courtyard on 1126 Smith Street. I just got word that my friend Roddy Lopez is not doing well at all. He had two massive heart attacks and his heart is currently working at three percent. The doctors are not giving him much of a chance and he needs your prayers.
Roddy was the voice of Pandanus Club. He sang most of the lead vocals for our songs and also played lead guitar. He was a wonderful talent when we p;layed together.
He lives in Seattle and just had another baby girl a year ago. I pray he will get through this time and I wish him the best always.

I just finished watching a webcast of a historical author named Robert Alexander. He writes on the downfall of the Romanov family, the last Imperial monarchy in Russia. Tune in for his next live discussion. What an interesting way to promote your book.
I was wondering the possibility of having this kind of writer research the fall of the Hawaiian monarchial system. His research techniques are interesting and broad based.
I will be doing some of my original compositions at Anna Bananaʻs on Thursday, April 17th. It is a showcase of singer/songwriters from the Oahu Songwriters Group (OSG). This group gets together once a month at someoneʻs home to discus songwriting techniques and to listen to each others new compositions. Come check us out.

On March 7th I hosted a one hour tv show on the Olelo TV station. My two guests were Dennis Kamakahi and Kawaikapu Hewett. The discussion was on songwriting from the Hawaiian standpoint. What a great time we had. This photo was taken right before the show started.
